BEST IN CLASS BICW Summer 2026: The Approach The Approach — FCL Defense Dates: July 14–15, 2026 Location: Chase Fieldhouse (Wilmington, DE) Positions: Women's midfielders, defenders and goalies. Ages: Middle School & High School Groups Format: Two-day immersive defensive training built by Matt Dunn and Phil Barnes. Our commitment with this event is to raise the standard of defensive coaching. The Approach is a college-level defensive environment focused on how elite defenders think, move, communicate, and compete. We dive into the nuance of understanding the defensive position, not just running drills for the sake of drills. This immersive environment focuses on connection between the players and our coaches.
