How to use lacrosse prospect days in recruiting
A lacrosse prospect day is a one-day event a college program runs on its own campus so its coaches can see players they might recruit. ID clinics are the same idea under another name. Multi-school clinics and showcases bring several college staffs to one event.
A prospect day is worth the most when the coach already knows who you are, or at a program where your level of play fits the roster. It works alongside club tournaments, which is where most evaluation happens, rather than replacing them. Email the coach before you go and again within a day or two after.
