Canisius men's lacrosse competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), representing Canisius University in Buffalo, New York. The Golden Griffins play a MAAC schedule against Siena, Marist, Manhattan, Mount St. Mary's, Merrimack, and other MAAC opponents. Canisius competes annually for the MAAC Tournament's automatic NCAA Tournament bid.
