The program is based at the University of Denver, a private research university with approximately 6,600 undergraduate students located five miles south of downtown Denver on a 125-acre arboretum campus.
Liza Kelly is the head coach of Denver women's lacrosse. Kelly has built the program into a Big East powerhouse, leading the Pioneers to six consecutive conference tournament championships as of 2026. Her teams are known for balanced offensive execution and dominant defensive play.
