Manhattan University is a private Catholic university founded in 1853 by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, originally in Manhattan and relocated in 1922 to its current Riverdale, Bronx campus. The university enrolls about 2,928 students with a 78.5% acceptance rate, an average SAT of 1254, and a 66% graduation rate. Tuition is approximately $50,850.
Manhattan men's lacrosse competes at the NCAA Division I level in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), representing Manhattan University in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, New York City. The Jaspers play within the MAAC alongside Marist, Mount St. Mary's, Merrimack, Canisius, and Quinnipiac, and are part of an athletics department branded as Go Jaspers. Three Jaspers were selected to the 2026 MAAC All-Conference teams.
Manhattan men's lacrosse finished the 2026 regular season 4-10 in MAAC play. The Jaspers picked up a 9-6 Senior Day win over Canisius on April 18 and closed the regular season on April 22 with a 10-9 double-overtime victory at Quinnipiac, sealed by Peabody's OT goal. On April 28, three Jaspers earned All-MAAC selections and the team was recognized on the MAAC men's lacrosse All-Academic Team.
