Michigan men's lacrosse competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Big Ten Conference. The Wolverines represent the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, the oldest higher education institution in the state, founded in 1817. Michigan plays one of college lacrosse's toughest conference schedules with annual matchups against Maryland, Johns Hopkins, Penn State, Ohio State, and Rutgers.
