About Trine Men's Lacrosse
The head coach of Trine men's lacrosse leads a roster competing in the MIAA, one of the Midwest's most established Division III conferences. The program develops student-athletes through a rigorous spring schedule and has produced multiple All-MIAA selections in recent seasons.
Trine University is located in Angola, Indiana, with additional campuses in Fort Wayne and education centers in Detroit, Phoenix, and Reston, Virginia. The Angola campus enrolls roughly 2,344 students and the school carries a 67.6% graduation rate with an average SAT around 1135. Athletics facilities at Trine recently expanded with the construction of a new 'Thunderdome' on campus.
Trine men's lacrosse competes in NCAA Division III as a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA). The program is housed at Trine University in Angola, Indiana, a private nonprofit institution founded in 1884. The Thunder play their home games at the Trine campus in northeast Indiana and have established themselves as a regular contender in MIAA postseason play.
Trine entered the 2026 MIAA Tournament after finishing the regular season at 14-5 and advanced past the first round with a win over Kalamazoo on April 25. The Thunder fell 8-7 at Hope on April 28 in a near-upset, ending their postseason run, and the program landed four All-MIAA selections that same week.
