Shenandoah women's lacrosse competes in NCAA Division III as a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). The Hornets represent Shenandoah University, a private United Methodist-affiliated university in Winchester, Virginia. The program plays a regional ODAC schedule and regularly contends in the conference tournament against Washington & Lee, Lynchburg, and Roanoke.
Shenandoah University is located in Winchester, Virginia, in the northern Shenandoah Valley. The private nonprofit university enrolls roughly 4,000 students across more than 200 programs in six schools and colleges, with an undergraduate cohort near 2,127 and a graduation rate around 71%.
